Outdoor SUP Yoga & Fitness beginning in June & continuing through September
Join Maria for SUP Yoga and SUP Fitness for your friends, family, co-workers....all summer long. Experience yoga on a paddleboard in a quiet cove on Jordan Lake in Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, or any water location of your choice. Challenge your body with a unique experience and alter your exercise routine with yoga or cardio/resistance training on a paddleboard. Together we will paddle, practice yoga or rock some burpees, then relax and paddle some more.
Newcomers to SUP are encouraged to join as well as experienced paddlers. Before heading to the yoga or workout location we spend time on SUP technique and paddling for 15 to 20 minutes. In both SUP yoga and SUP fitness, there are options for staying lower to the board to gain confidence and balance. With time, we move to our feet and practice standing poses and other more challenging postures and exercises. We will practice poses for all levels of ability.
Maria offers community and private classes all year long. Stay tuned for community class dates coming soon. Don't want to wait for the scheduled community classes? Book Maria for your own private individual or group class. Private bookings allow you to pick the time and day of your SUP experience. Private classes can be 2 - 4 hours in length depending on interest of the group. Level: All levels of abilities are welcome (participants should be comfortable in and around water). Some yoga experience is helpful though not required. Length: 1.5 - 2 hours (this includes our land lesson, paddling time, yoga/fitness session and more paddle time). PINTS AND POSES...continuing through November 2018!
Every other Thursday from spring through late fall, I host a slow, flow yoga session at Mystery Brewing in Hillsborough, NC. There is no registration required and the fee for the class ($15) includes a Mystery Brewing pint. These classes are an opportunity to practice yoga in a unique setting with friends and then enjoy some social time at the pub. Join us.

SHAKES AND SAVASANA @ The Nutrition Hub
I have teamed up with The Nutrition Hub to offer a slow, flow yoga session followed by a yummy shake or tea of your choice. No registration required and the fee is 15.00 for the class and a post-yoga shake. These classes are a chance to practice yoga in a unique setting with friends and then enjoy some social time hanging out in the Hub afterwards. Please join us.
