Day 7.
Thank you for a great initiation week of "I Can" statements. From personal and observational experience, I think getting our minds set on our intentions and goals is so important before we actually carry out and execute our plan to get to that goal. Though we each stated our goals in different ways, we have a lot of common themes: exercise, quiet (meditation) time, good nutrition, sleep, less distractions from technology, more self-care. This is great. We can do this. I've created a weekly schedule for the next 3 weeks. Please have a look, print it, and save it somewhere that is easy to reference. It will be here and saved in our files. Each day for the next three weeks I will refer to the calendar and provide additional information in the form of workouts, meditation ideas, nutrition and recipes suggestions, etc. In addition to the tasks we practice as a group, continue to keep your "I can" statements and goals in mind too. If you need to deviate from the schedule and it works out for you to switch up a day or substitute one of my tasks for one of your own, that's totally fine. This is a guideline and plan that I've created but it needs to work for you and your life as well. Continue to check in here daily and stay tuned for my posts and links. As always, please keep the healthy and supportive dialogue going here and amongst the team. We are stronger together and together we can do this. One more thing about today's task: Sunday is REST/Reset day. This means that today is a day of rest (unless you use Sunday as another day of exercise because you have a weekday rest day) and reset day. Reset means we take time to reset our mindset. Think about you tasks, goals, intentions. Look at your week ahead and determine how/when you will be able to incorporate these goals into your daily schedule. Get some grocery shopping done today or meal prep/planning. Lay out your exercise clothes or pack a gym bag tonight. Determine what time you have to get to bed tonight in order to get a minimum of 6 hours of sleep. Ten to fifteen minutes of planning today can lead to some really great days ahead!!! #youCANdoths #springtraining2017 #STYT #dayONE Have a fantastic Sunday. -maria
