Good morning everyone.
Welcome to the first day of Spring Training 2017.
Just like ball players come together for team meetings, workouts and practice, think of this first day as our chance to all come together as a group, get to know each other and get psyched up for the next four weeks!
Today is all about our mindset and getting ourselves mentally ready for this challenge. The big focus of these next four weeks will be on what you CAN do....whether it's exercising, eating well, getting rest, sticking to goals, breathing out, etc.
I have workouts, nutrition suggestions/options, and motivation all lined up for you in the coming weeks. We will use our Day One mindset to guide us each day. Your participation is essential to the success of this challenge, both individually and collectively. We are stronger together and when we support, help and hold each other accountable, we can reach and exceed our goals.
For today, please think about some personal goals/intentions that you might like to set for this challenge. Think about your future self....4 weeks from now. On April 7th, what "I CAN" statement would you like to make? For example : "I can do a push up"... " I can eat cleaner" "I CAN drink water throughout my day".... "I can get to bed by 10pm."
Please share ... or if you want to keep them private, write them somewhere at home where you can see them. Try for 2-3 statements..
Thanks for being a part of this group.
Welcome and thank you for visiting this site. I'm happy and grateful to have a place where I can write about fitness and wellness. In addition to blogging about exercise and sharing workouts, I also use this space to tell 200-word stories about the inspiring and amazing people I encounter in this career. I look forward to sharing as many of these journeys as possible, and would love to hear from you if you would like me to tell your story. You can contact me anytime. Thank you so much for your interest and your effort. Think fit...be fit...stay fit! You are stronger than you think. #STYT
