Day 6. It's pouring here in NC thanks to Hurricane Matthew. We are home, safe and have power and I hope that wherever you are, you are also safe and sound. This is the first weekend of our challenge. Whether you are house-bound because of the weather, or out and about this weekend, I hope that you can find time to keep up with our challenge. I totally get that the weekends can either be rejuvenating or depleting, depending on what we have going on. The tasks for today and tomorrow are pretty simple: a clean meal, meal prep, rest, stretch, sleep and two exercises. We can do that, right? Oh...and drink your water!!!!! Today's two exercises are mountain climbers and v-sits with a twist. Sharing a short video of mountain climbers as demonstrated by my weekend warriors I found a short and simple article about clean eating that I'm sharing here. I like the way this author explains "clean" and makes it seem very doable and not overwhelming. I would LOVE to hear what clean foods you prepare this weekend. Feel free to share ideas here. Reflect on your goals friends, refer to the calendar for your tasks and find time this weekend for balance.
