Day 7. Sunday.
The sun is out, the sun is out!!
Wow. What a glorious morning we have today after days of rain and gray skies. I hope and pray that you are all safe, well and able to enjoy this Sunday.
Today is the 7th day of the Fresh Start Challenge. Today is a rest day and/or a stretch day...unless of course the weekend is your best time for a workout, then of course, please go for it!
I'm sharing a video here from the springtime challenge if you need some stretching ideas.
This is also a day for meal planning/prep for the upcoming week AND we are going to try for more than 6 hours of sleep! (I think i'm most excited about that!)
As we head into our second week of our challenge, I invite you all to take a few moments and reconnect with the reasons that you decided to participate in this group. Think about your goals and intentions. Are you hoping to eat a little cleaner? Are you trying to add some movement to your day? Do you need more positive vibes or energy in your day? We are "starting fresh" this month and recognizing lots of Day One opportunities. Today could be Day One for you in planning out a menu for the week. Today could be Day One for you for stretching out your muscles after a week of workouts. Today could be Day One for you to find some balance in your day between chores, work AND rest.
Whatever your intention is, remember that all the small changes and efforts we make, can and will lead to greater change. That extra glass of water you drink today, will eventually become two and then three. That 30 minutes of extra sleep you try for this evening and then again tomorrow, can eventually become an hour. It all matters. It all adds up.
Have a fantastic day friends and feel free to post here with pics, updates, questions, etc. I love hearing from you and seeing what you are doing and how you are participating in this challenge. We have a great week coming up and I'm looking forward to sharing it with all of you.
Welcome and thank you for visiting this site. I'm happy and grateful to have a place where I can write about fitness and wellness. In addition to blogging about exercise and sharing workouts, I also use this space to tell 200-word stories about the inspiring and amazing people I encounter in this career. I look forward to sharing as many of these journeys as possible, and would love to hear from you if you would like me to tell your story. You can contact me anytime. Thank you so much for your interest and your effort. Think fit...be fit...stay fit! You are stronger than you think. #STYT
